Job description

Responsible for monitoring patient status via electronic systems and notifying appropriate staff of variances and alarms according to departmental policy. Patient data is documented in a timely manner following departmental standards.

  1. Monitors patients using electronic systems.
  2. Identifies variances and initiates follow-up actions.
  3. Documents patient data.
  4. Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $15.37 - $23.82 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required.

Experience: No experience required.

Licensure: ECG Certification with the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine or National Telemetry Tech Certification with the National Telemetry Association required within 12 months of hire date.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires sitting for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, repetitive). Proficient in communication, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, and cold.
