Job Title : Mixed Cardiac Monitoring Technician & Patient Care Technician (PCT)

Employment Type : Direct Hire, Permanent

Location : Warrensville, IL

Shift : 6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM | Includes 3-4 weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday nights) per 6-week period

On-Call Requirement : None

Holiday Requirement : Rotating

Work Environment : This will be a Hybrid role but need candidates who are just 30-35 min away from the Hospital and can work Onsite.

Requirements : -

• Cardiac Monitor Telemetry Certification (CCMTT) and or General Telemetry certification (NTA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as both a PCT and a monitor technician

Position Summary :

We are currently seeking a Mixed Cardiac Monitoring Technician & Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team for a full-time night shift position. This hybrid role is ideal for candidates with experience in both telemetry monitoring and direct patient care. The technician will be responsible for monitoring cardiac rhythms for up to 70 patients across various units and performing essential patient care duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

Monitor cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment across multiple hospital units

Perform patient care technician responsibilities as required

Accurately communicate and document cardiac and clinical findings

Answer and relay phone calls and perform associated clerical duties

Participate in scheduled weekend and rotating holiday shifts

Required Qualifications :

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of 1 year of experience as both a PCT and a monitor technician

Strong EKG interpretation skills

Current Telemetry Certification

CPR Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or client

Preferred Qualifications :

3-6 months of additional healthcare or cardiac monitoring experience
