The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth New Smyrna Beach

The role you’ll contribute to:

Responsible for the continual observation, documentation, and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patient’s physician.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Obtain, interpret, and document cardiac monitoring data per standard, documenting in the telemetry monitoring system.
• Document changes in heart rhythms per policy.
• Communicate changes in patient’s rhythm pattern and follow escalation process as applicable.
• Assess and maintain telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Enter all telemetry charges if applicable.

Qualifications

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year monitor tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
