Role: Monitor Technician

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the continual observation, documentation, and communication of all cardiac rhythm strip monitoring in designated units, as ordered by the patient’s physician.
• Obtains, interprets, and documents cardiac monitoring data per standard procedures.
• Documents changes in heart rhythms according to policy.
• Communicates changes in patient’s rhythm pattern and follows escalation process as applicable.
• Assesses and maintains telemetry equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Enters all telemetry charges if applicable.

Qualifications:

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year monitor tech experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
