Job summary

Boone Health is seeking a Part-Time Cardiac Monitoring Technician to assist with long‑term cardiac rhythm monitoring in observation areas, including patients with arrhythmias or drug interventions. You will monitor rhythms, document findings, and respond to potential life-threatening events.

Night shift coverage is required (7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.). The role includes participating in weekend/holiday rotations and is benefit-eligible.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: None required.
• Licenses & Certification: ECG Rhythm Interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observes, reports, and documents patient’s cardiac rhythm.
• Ensures monitoring equipment is functioning properly.
• Supports continuous quality and service improvements.
• Performs other assigned responsibilities.

Overview

Job Summary: Assists with long term monitoring vital to patient care in the observation of patients with cardiac arrhythmia, suspected arrhythmia, drug intervention per floor with need for observation, and potential of life threatening cardiac events. Initiates first response and responders to at risk patients.
