At least 1 year in a .6fte or greater Monitor Technician I position at MUSC or 1 year of Monitor Technician/Telemetry work experience in a health care facility and succeful completion of the EKG training/competency during the orientation period in order to remain in the Monitor Technician II position.
Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
