The community you’ll be caring for:
AdventHealth is expanding, bringing our quality, compassionate whole-person care to western Johnson County. Our new hospital and medical campus — AdventHealth Lenexa City Center — will open in 2025.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Monitor Technician monitors heart rhythm patterns to detect record and report normal and abnormal heart rhythm patterns, normal and abnormal ECG interval measurements and proper and improper pacemaker or implantable defibrillator function utilizing telemetry equipment. The MT requires excellent problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Additionally, will clean and maintain equipment.

Follow guidelines for standard precautions as directed.
Clean and maintain the telemetry battery packs.
Perform environmental tasks as delegated with minimal supervision.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Qualifications required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
BCLS obtained through the American Heart Association
EKG Certification within 12 months of hire
Qualifications preferred:
Associate’s Degree or Graduate of a Technical School
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
Previous experience in telemetry monitoring
Successful completion of a Basic Dysrhythmia Class/Training program
