Job summary

Hartford HealthCare Windham Hospital seeks a Telemetry Monitor Technician to join the patient care team at Windham Hospital in Windham, CT. The role runs 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and requires following the RN or Unit Manager's direction while identifying cardiac rhythms and documenting findings.

Experience with telemetry is preferred but training is available. The position emphasizes teamwork, multitasking, and strong communication with patients and families in a medical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Telemetry Monitor experience preferred but will train.
• Clerical skills preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, the ability to multi-task and interact effectively with health care team members, patients and families.
• Knowledge of arrhythmia detection highly desirable.

Shift Detail: 24 hour Monitor technician 7a-330p. Every other weekend and rotating holidays.
