Job summary

Northwell Health is seeking a telemetry/monitor technician to observe ECG and CCTV monitors and promptly alert nurses when arrhythmias occur. You will document baseline strips each shift and ensure emergency equipment is clean and functional.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and 0–1 years of related technical experience. The role requires meticulous observation and quick reporting to the care team within a busy hospital setting.

Job Responsibility

• Recognizes arrhythmias and obtains documentary strip.
• Reports all arrhythmias to nurse responsible for patient.
• Obtains a baseline strip each shift on all monitored patients.
• Replaces electrode pads, wires, and batteries as needed.
• Obtains EKG's as necessary.
• Assures that all emergency equipment is cleaned and checked.
