Qualifications

• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• Telemetry and/or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia course.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing surveillance of patient cardiac monitors and notify RNs/clinicians of rhythm changes.
• Deliver telemetry to in-patient units and manage monitor connections/discharges.
• Prepare patients for monitoring and provide teaching related to monitor use.
