Job summary

Highpoint Health- Sumner, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Monitor Technician to join our Full Time Day shift. You will provide continuous surveillance of patient monitors, identify significant arrhythmias or distress, and promptly report changes to nursing staff.

As a Monitor Technician, you will test equipment, support the care team, and help maintain a safe, healthy environment. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent; completion of the Handle with Care program within 6 months of

• Handle with Care (HWC) within 6 months of hire/transfer

Responsibilities

• Performing continual surveillance of multiple monitors
• Identifying significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately
• Reporting abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Testing equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor

Education

Highpoint Health- Sumner has been providing quality health care to Middle TN for 65 years. Since opening in 1959, we have grown from one facility with just 50 employees and 7 physicians to a comprehensive health care leader in the community with more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. Today, we operate as a 167-bed healthcare facility and provide quality care in numerous areas of health care.

How you'll contribute

As a Monitor Technicianjoining our team, you're embracing a vital mission dedicated to making communities healthier. This includes:

• Performing continual surveillance of multiple monitors

• Testing equipment for proper working order and reports problems to supervisor
