Job summary

Kaleida Health in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Monitor Technician to assist the Registered Nurse in telemetry care. You will operate cardiac monitoring equipment, interpret rhythms, and keep a clean, organized station while responding quickly in emergencies.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; an AAS is preferred. BLS within 6 months and NTA telemetry certification within 12 months are required or pursued after hire. One year hospital or monitor tech experience is desired.

Education And Credentials

HS diploma or GED required. AAS in a healthcare related field preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 6 months of hire. National Telemetry Association, NTA Telemetry Certification required within 12 months of hire into a Monitor Tech position.

Experience

• 1 year of experience in a hospital setting with bedside clinical experience required.
• 1 year of experience as a monitor tech or related experience preferred.
• 1 year of experience as an EMT preferred.Working Conditions
