Job summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking a Clerical/Monitor Tech to support cardiac monitoring and patient clerking under supervision. You will help maintain smooth patient flow and assist licensed staff to ensure timely care in a busy hospital environment.

Ideal applicants will have a CA license or certification, basic typing and medical terminology knowledge, and a willingness to complete Basic EKG interpretation. Bilingual Spanish or Chinese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current California license/certification/registration required
• Typing and computer skills
• Prior hospital/healthcare clerical/unit experience preferred
• Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation
• Bilingual Spanish or Chinese preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology or initial training within 6 months
• 1-2 years hospital/healthcare clerical/office experience preferred
• CCC Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk and BCLS card required
