Piedmont Mountainside Hospital is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor patient electrocardiograms and interpret cardiac rhythms with accuracy. You will assess EKG strips, identify dysrhythmias, and ensure timely reporting of abnormalities to the care team.

You will also maintain telemetry inventories, troubleshoot equipment, and keep transmitters and supplies in working condition to support continuous patient monitoring and safe outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of cardiac rhythms/basic EKG interpretation.
• Certification as a CCMTT or CRAT is preferred.

• RESPONSIBLE FOR: Provides continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms, including measurement of P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST deviations.
• Maintains telemetry inventories, supplies, hardware and transmitters in working condition and reports malfunctions promptly.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR: Possesses knowledge and ability to provide continuous ECG monitoring through assessment of EKG strips and accurate interpretation of cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias interpretation including: measurement of P-R intervals, QRS widths, and ST segment deviations. Possesses troubleshooting skills to recognize monitoring problems, identifies probable causes, and seeks solutions to correct the problem. Responsible for maintaining inventories, supplies, hardware and telemetry transmitters in working condition and responsible for appropriately reporting malfunctions promptly as applicable.
