Provides cardiac monitoring and clerking duties under the supervision of licensed or certified staff during training. Performs essential tasks to ensure smooth patient care flow.

Qualifications and Skills

Minimum Requirements
  • Current California license, certification, or registration as required for the position.
  • Typing and computer proficiency.
  • Previous experience in an acute healthcare setting or formal education and hospital orientation.
  • Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Chinese are preferred.
  • Basic medical terminology knowledge or completion of a related course within 6 months.
  • 1-2 years of hospital or healthcare clerical experience preferred.
  • CCC Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk certification and BCLS card required.
