Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Basic organizational skills and computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant education or training related to the responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of patient and family teaching principles.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current California license, certification, or registration as required for the position.
  • Typing and computer skills.
  • Prior experience in an acute healthcare facility or formal education and orientation in hospital settings preferred.
  • Successful completion of Basic EKG Interpretation course.
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Chinese are preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology or completion of a relevant course within 6 months.
  • 1-2 years of hospital or healthcare clerical experience preferred.
  • CCC Monitor Tech/Unit Clerk certification and BCLS card required.
