Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a dedicated Unit Support professional to maintain patient charts, manage records, and support the nursing team on a busy hospital floor in Neptune, NJ.

You will serve as a Monitor Tech, enter orders, assist guests, and help with supply maintenance while collaborating with multiple departments to ensure smooth patient care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of Hackensack Meridian Health Monitor Tech exam within 90 days of hire.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Google Suite and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records and census; ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Function as Monitor Tech; relay communication between nursing, physicians and departments.
• Direct guests and assist with directions and resource finding.
• Prepare and file patient charts and ensure proper transfer to Medical Records.
