Job summary

Monitor Tech - ICU at Emanate Health is a part-time day shift position with 12-hour blocks at the Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendale. Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret patients' cardiac rhythm and listen for alarms.
• Inform the RN of variances to initiate patient examination.
• Greet staff at the nurses' station and refer questions to the appropriate staff.
• Transcribe medical orders accurately.
• Perform unit-based non-clinical duties related to admission, discharge and transfer.
• Organize activities at the nurses' station.
• Accept patient medications from pharmacy and deliver to nurse-in-charge.
