Job summary

Emanate Health is seeking a Monitor Tech to observe and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms, respond to alarms, and inform the RN of variances. This per diem role covers the day shift at EH Inter-Community Hospital in Covina, where you will greet staff at the nurses' station and handle routine non-clinical duties related to admission, discharge and transfer.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent, knowledge of medical terminology, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; knowledge of medical terminology strongly preferred; Unit Secretarial course preferred.
• Minimum Experience: Prior unit secretary experience preferred; excellent customer service skills required.
• Minimum License: BLS required; Assaultive Behavior Training Certification within 30 days of hire/transfer for ER; program requirements if applicable.
