Night-shift position with an hourly base rate of $21.14-$26.89, 24 hours per week (12-hour shifts). SEIU Local 49 represented position seeking dedicated healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Associates degree preferred and at least 1 year of experience.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly: verbally, in writing, on the telephone and via the patient call system.
• Simultaneous observation and evaluation of real time cardiac monitors and telemetry monitors.
• Use computers.
• Examines heartbeat patterns on electrocardiograph monitors.
• Makes note of irregular rhythms and monitors changes in heartbeat.
• Ensures that monitors are functioning properly.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
