Job summary

First Student is hiring a part-time School Bus Monitor/Aide in New Jersey. You will help students board and exit the bus, assist children with special needs during transport, and ensure everyone remains seated and safe. You’ll collaborate with the driver to keep a calm, secure ride.

No prior experience is required; we provide industry-leading training and safety programs. At least 21 years old, strong communication, and flexible AM/PM shifts are valued. CPR/First Aid is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Friendly, reliable and patient with children.

Responsibilities

As a Part Time School Bus Monitor, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students. You will assist the bus driver in providing an excellent and safe journey for students to and from school.

Your day as a School Bus Monitor/Aide will include:
