Job summary

First Student, Inc. is hiring a Part Time School Bus Monitor/Aide to assist the bus driver with safe student transportation to and from school. No prior experience required; training will be provided.

The role emphasizes safety, supportive care for students, and responsive communication with the driver. The position offers a part-time, split-shift schedule (AM/PM) with weekdays only, no nights or summers. This opportunity supports advancement across 540 locations in the U.S.

Your day as a School Bus Monitor/Aide will include:

• Help students safely board and exit the bus.

School Bus Monitor/Aide qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.
