Job summary

FIRST STUDENT MANAGEMENT LLC is hiring a School Bus Monitor/Aide to support safe student transportation and assist children during transit.

You will help students board and exit, stay seated, follow safety rules, and work with the driver to maintain a calm, secure ride for all passengers.

This role requires strong communication, reliability, and patience with children, with career advancement opportunities across more than 540 locations in the U.S. and Canada.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient working with children.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.

Responsibilities

Your day as a School Bus Monitor/Aide will include:

This role requires English proficiency. Federal, state, and local requirements, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, require training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications be conducted in English.
