Job summary

BASIS Richardson is seeking a Monitor to join our team. The role involves supervising students during lunches, recess, and before/after school to ensure safety and orderly conduct.

Qualifications

• IVP fingerprint clearance or state background check is required.

• Supervise individual students and/or groups of students during structured and unstructured times.

The role of the Monitor is to monitor student activities, such as lunches, recesses, parking duty, and “Early Bird” and “Late Bird” school programs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card and/or satisfactory applicable state background check
• High school diploma or higher
• Experience in a school or childcare environment preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Monitor students to ensure safety

Oversee students’ behavior during lunches, recesses, passing periods, and before and after school

Report any unruly behaviour to school management
