Newly created initiative and role, very smart-collaborative team-based environment, reports to the CTO. U.S.-based firm with a remote working model already in place.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience designing and implementing robust data platforms, dashboards, and portals.
- Proficiency in MongoDB, Python, and JavaScript for web-based data reporting; PostgreSQL is a strong plus.
- Experience developing frameworks for handling changing data dimensions and maintaining historical data views.
- Solid fundamentals in data modeling, architecture, quality, indexing, joins, and schemas.
- Ability to create data models and schemas that optimize performance for complex healthcare data.
- Establish data integration patterns from various sources.
- Design and implement data partitioning and clustering strategies.
- Develop caching mechanisms for frequently accessed healthcare metrics.
- Ensure data architecture complies with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
- Experience with data warehousing and analytics tools like Tableau and Power BI.
- Proficiency in SQL Server/Azure SQL and Python, especially for interoperability with Azure Cloud.
- Current experience with Snowflake's cloud data warehousing platform.
- Strong knowledge of ETL, data modeling, data warehouse design, and cataloging.
- Experience migrating data to Snowflake with appropriate solution architecture.
- Familiarity with Snowflake features such as Snowflake Data Cloud, Snowpipe, Snowpark, Hybrid tables, Data Sharing, and Iceberg.
- Experience with Snowflake release management and building extensions.
- Ability to engage and communicate with technical and business stakeholders effectively.
- Experience with SQL Server (preferably Azure SQL) and Python.
Pluses:
- Snowflake certifications (e.g., SnowPro Core, Architect).
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, DICOM, FHIR).
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in healthcare analytics.
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems like LDAP, AD, IAM.
- Basic SQL Server administration skills.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as GCP and AWS.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks to ensure data integrity.
- Experience in a complex, rapidly evolving software or product environment.
