Job summary

Kestra Financial is seeking an energetic, detail oriented candidate to join our Cashiering Team in Tempe, AZ. The role focuses on processing check disbursements and deposits, wires, journals, and EFTs while maintaining accuracy and timeliness in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with advisors and staff to resolve issues, monitor queues, and reconcile daily reports, all while upholding regulatory rules and internal procedures to support firm and client risk management.

Responsibilities

• Comply with regulatory rules, procedures and policies.
• Identify anomalies in cashiering activities and escalate as needed.
• Process cashiering functions including check disbursements, deposits, wires, journals, and EFTs.
• Maintain AdvisorComplete and Salesforce queues in a timely manner.
• Monitor securities paperwork and perform monthly blotter reconciliation.
• Generate and review daily reports and communicate with advisors to resolve issues.
• Take deposits to the bank and support various management projects.

Kestra Financial is seeking an energetic, financially curious, and detailed oriented candidate to join our Cashiering Team. The Cashiering Team is an integral department in managing firm and client risk, while ensuring client requests to disburse and deposit funds are processed quickly and accurately. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detailed oriented, loves working with numbers and is eager to learn how to Power Financial Independence by having a serve, make it happen, and one team mentality.

What You’ll Do:

In addition to complying with all regulatory rules, written desktop procedures and company policies and communicating effectively with the Kestra Financial Professionals and with internal staff, key responsibilities include:

• Comply with all regulatory rules, written desktop procedures and company policies.
• Identify exceptions/anomalies around activities and functions processed within Cashiering and bring to Anti-money Laundering and Managements' attention immediately
• Process Cashiering functions, including, but not limited to:
• Check disbursements and deposits, Wires, Journals, and EFTs
• Timely maintenance of AdvisorComplete and Salesforce queues
• Monitor legal paperwork for securities deposited
• Monthly blotter reconciliation
• Generate and review daily reports
• Communicate directly with advisors and staff to resolve problem issues
• Take deposits to the bank, as needed
• Work on various projects from management
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

What You Bring:

• Ability to successfully pass basic math and written communication assessments.
• Demonstrated ability to perform assigned duties accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Capable of exercising sound business judgment and working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and perform well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Accurate typing skills of 45+ words per minute (WPM) and proficiency in 10-key data entry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Flexible to work additional hours or overtime as business needs require.
