Nationwide Children's Hospital Inc in North Carolina is seeking a pediatric nurse to support health promotion and disease prevention. You will provide patient- and family-centered care across the episode of care, emphasizing safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires BSN coursework timely completion, current RN licensure (Ohio), and BLS certification. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in quality improvement and data-driven decision making.

Formación

• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited school is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Must successfully complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Licensed RN in the State of Ohio is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Three years of pediatric clinical experience, or equivalent education/experience, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care using a Family Centered approach.
• Assesses individualized patient needs and plans, implements, educates and evaluates care using Evidence-Based Practices.
• Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with regulatory and policy compliance.
• Works closely with providers and other team members to ensure a smooth clinic flow addressing patient/parent concerns and attaining positive patient and family outcomes.
• Documents according to organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
• Engages in the workflow community by data collection or auditing, understanding Quality Improvement, and reporting updates back to staff.
