Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Molecular Technologist 2 to join the Fox Chase Cancer Center team in Philadelphia. This full-time role involves performing a wide variety of lab procedures using manual and automated methods, ensuring accuracy of results.

You will actively participate in quality improvement activities, QC reporting, and validation of tests. Training for new hires and ongoing competencies may also be within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences or Chemistry is required.
• 3 years experience in Molecular Diagnostics testing is required.
• Specialist Molecular Biology or Technologist Molecular Biology licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using manual and automated methods.
• Participates in quality improvement activities, monthly quality control and assurance reporting, validation of new and revised tests, and preparation for laboratory inspections.
• May sign off on training for new hires and ongoing competencies.
