Qualifications

• 3 years experience in Molecular Diagnostics testing Required
• Specialist Molecular Biology Preferred or Technologist Molecular Biology Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using manual and automated methods.
• Is expected to show independent judgment regarding performance and reporting of results.
• Participates in quality improvement activities, monthly quality control and assurance reporting, and validation of tests.
• Maintains CAP and accreditation readiness and participates in inspections and pre-inspection reviews.
• May sign off on training for new hires and ongoing competencies.
