What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Sell molecular spectroscopy products in the Northeastern United States
- Collaborate with account managers to increase market share for molecular spectroscopy
- Conduct product demonstrations and prepare technical presentations for prospective customers
- Lead demand generation activities and manage sales opportunities
- Provide regular reports on activities and technical trends to Sales Management
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor\'s, Master\'s, or Ph.D. degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a similar scientific discipline
- Minimum of 4+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the scientific or analytical instruments industry
- Familiarity with UV/Vis/NIR, IR, and Raman fundamentals and principles
- Strong computer skills with excellent technical written and oral presentation abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for business purposes

- Advanced degree (Master\'s or Ph.D.) in a scientific discipline
- Experience developing sales training for technical products
- Established relationships within the scientific community or relevant industries
