Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a closely related field required.
• Hands-on experience in biochemistry and molecular biology protocols in a research lab.
• Experience with protein conjugation to surfaces is a plus.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, purify, and provide protein materials for daily workflows.
• Perform bacterial protein expression and purification at benchtop.
• Characterize proteins via SDS-PAGE, UV/Vis, and BCA quantification.
• Conduct molecular biology techniques such as bacterial transformation and plasmid prep.
• Develop and optimize novel assays for protein conjugation and activity.
• Lead high-throughput protein production and activity screening with DNA library design.
• Document and troubleshoot experimental data; communicate results to team.
