Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Technologist I, II, or III for a 6-month contract in Seattle, WA. The role focuses on processing clinical and research samples using DNA sequencing and molecular assays in a fast-paced lab.

The position requires strong attention to detail, regulatory compliance, and experience with high-throughput workflows. Shifts include evenings; DOE pay with a 15% differential after 6 pm or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in medical technology or laboratory science from an accredited institution.
• Alternative: Bachelor’s in a chemical/biological science plus 6 months of high-complexity molecular experience in a clinical lab with CLIA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Performs DNA extractions, PCR amplification, or high-throughput sequencing on DNA libraries per SOPs.
• Operates and maintains lab equipment including sequencing instruments and robotics.
• Completes tasks such as sample processing, validations, and QC runs with accuracy.
• Trains staff on high-complexity molecular methods and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Maintains records and uses LIMS for data entry and traceability.
