Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a licensed laboratory supervisor to perform molecular assays across Women's Health, Infectious Disease, Urology, and Hematology. You will evaluate prognostic markers and ensure high-volume testing with strict PHI confidentiality.

Requirements include a CLS degree, NAACLS program completion, state licensure, and a supervisor license or eligibility, with 3+ years MT/CLS experience. Full-time, first shift, Sunday-Thursday on-site in Las Vegas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Laboratory Science or equivalent under 1988 CLIA high-complexity testing guidelines.
• Completion of a NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program.
• State licensure required.
• Must possess a General Supervisor of a Licensed Laboratory license, or be eligible to obtain one.
• Minimum of three years of experience as an MT/CLS required for the general supervisor license.
• Laboratory computer skills.
• MT (ASCP) preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and comply with PHI privacy and security standards.
• Availability for full-time, 40-hour first mid-shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates expertise in performing molecular assays and high-volume laboratory testing while ensuring PHI privacy and security standards.
• Proficient in Laboratory Information System (LIS) and equipment maintenance.
• Enter and review results in the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Record determinations and results for physician review.
• Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and apparatus.
• Prepare reagents, media, chemicals, and solutions.
