MainStreet Family Care in Wake Forest, NC is seeking a Lab Technician to join our clinical team and deliver high-complexity PCR testing and related laboratory procedures. You will support diagnosis and patient care in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

The role focuses on real-time PCR testing, CLIA compliance, accurate documentation, and teamwork with providers. Schedule includes 30–40 hours weekly with 10-hour shifts; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Medical laboratory certification or CLIA-compliant Bachelor's degree.
• Two years of clinical lab experience including molecular or PCR testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity real-time PCR testing per protocols.
• Collect, prepare, process and analyze patient specimens.
• Document results in EMR and maintain QA.
• Maintain CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA compliance and safety.
• Manage inventory and calibration of lab equipment.
• Collaborate with clinicians to support operations.
