Job summary

Pathgroup- is seeking a Lab Assistant I to accurately capture computer images for cytogenetic cases using CytoVision, perform data entry, and support clerical tasks in the lab. The role includes imaging, labeling, specimen handling and routine lab duties in a professional environment.

Responsibilities also include answering calls, maintaining supplies, and ensuring adherence to privacy and safety policies governing laboratory work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong data entry and clerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Capture computer images for cytogenetic cases using CytoVision.
• Perform data entry for patient demographics and case folders.
• Handle specimens, print labels, and prepare requisitions.
• Answer inbound calls and direct to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain supplies and perform routine lab cleaning.
