Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess/obtain competency in developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care.
• Orientation and ongoing competency validation required to perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, process, and distribute specimens per procedures.
• Enter test results into the laboratory information system with documentation.
• Perform instrument maintenance and reagent prep; troubleshoot basic issues.
• Ensure quality control/assurance criteria are met and notify when needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and observe biosafety protocols.
• Follow CLIA requirements for waived, moderate and high complexity testing.
