Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a Molding Technician in Monroe, LA. The role involves running machines, assembling parts, and packing goods for shipment, with opportunities for growth and hands-on learning.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the manufacturing process of molded products.
• Prepare molds for production runs.
• Read and execute production paperwork accurately.
• Read tape measures and resin scales.
• Support continuous improvement efforts within the department.
• Operate hand tools including drills and drivers.
• Operate equipment such as scissor lifts, man lifts, and overhead cranes.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Work in elevated temperature environments throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Molding Technician.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery.
• Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
