Job DescriptionMolding Project Engineer Reports to the Manufacturing Unit Leader. Responsible for project ownership and support activities toward attainment of departmental and plant goals. Primary focus is on areas of molding project leadership, and project execution training and development. Secondary focus on mold/press processing/operations support. Required to handle multiple assignments of varying scope and complexity.
Bachelor's degree in Molding or Mechanical Engineering required. BD Validation Toolkit training and Project / Program experience, or comparable industry validation certification is required.
Knowledge of proper engineering practices and vendor relationships. Accredited program certification(s) in injection molding processing/technology (Master Molder, Paulson Injection Molding Training, etc.). Understanding of Lean Manufacturing initiatives with an emphasis in Operation Excellence.
