Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Process Technician to maximize uptime of OES production machines by diagnosing quality issues related to molding processes, equipment, or materials. This on-site role in Valdosta, GA offers a bonus eligibility and requires hands-on machine operation experience.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, experience with molding machine processing, and training such as lock out/tag out.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience with processing of molding machines.
• Lock out/tag out authorization (provided by OES).
• Designated Paulson online training as specified by supervision.
• Proficient in use of basic hand tools, power tools, slide hammer and impact wrench.

Responsibilities

• Initiates the start of molding machines and ensures proper functionality to support on-time production targets.
• Troubleshoots molding machine malfunctions or bottlenecks with material changes or process adjustments.
• Records machine malfunctions and adjustments as required.
• Communicates and verifies raw material adjustments to material handlers to improve efficiency.
• Conducts test runs of process or machine adjustments to ensure quality and alignment with standards.
• Routinely changes machine inserts to match customer specifications.
• Notifies Maintenance Technician of issues requiring repair or fabrication.
• Identifies parts or machines needing replacement and places orders as necessary.
• Assembles new or modified components under guidance of a Technical Manager.
• Performs analyses and suggests changes in equipment or methods.
• Assists on-shift supervisor with operator assignments and machine cycle guidance.
• Assists Material Handlers with material issue troubleshooting.
• Performs other duties as needed.
