Job summary

Röchling Medical Rochester is seeking an experienced Molding Process Engineering Manager to lead all injection molding process engineering and validation activities. You will standardize robust molding processes, ensure tooling readiness, and drive continuous improvement in quality and OEE within a cleanroom manufacturing setting.

As a leader, you will develop and manage a team of Molding Process Engineers and Setup Technicians, overseeing mold trials, parameter development, and IQ/OQ/PQ

Qualifications

• Injection molding process development, optimization, and technical leadership.
• Scientific molding principles and data-driven process characterization.
• Knowledge of injection molding machines, tooling, and automation interfaces.
• Ability to lead, communicate, and solve complex manufacturing problems.
• Prioritize multiple initiatives and drive projects to completion.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Minitab, and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage a team of Molding Process Engineers and Technicians.
• Drive injection molding process development, standardization, and optimization.
• Own process validation and production readiness, including IQ/OQ/PQ execution.
• Manage status, risks, and improvement plans for molding processes.

Education

Bachelors in Plastics Engineering or Engineering

Advanced technical experience in injection molding

Scientific molding certification

Lean manufacturing / Continuous improvement experience

Tools
