Job summary

Viant Medical Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Process Engineer to support and optimize injection molding operations.

You will develop programs to improve productivity, lead mold tooling validation, and work with vendors to ensure high quality parts for life-saving medical devices. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4+ years in manufacturing with silicone injection molding experience; strong knowledge of SPC, DOE and GD&T; and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (Silicone injection molding experience preferred).
• Experience with injection molding, SPC, DOE and GD&T.
• Knowledge of mold and part design.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs to optimize productivity and reduce cycle time.
• Assure that the process adheres to ISO standards.
• Continuously improve existing processes using DOE and other methods.
• Support product development for successful launches.
• Mold validation setup, troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Quote, procure, modify and validate tooling.
• Direct vendor interface and approve tooling.
