Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Packer to pack molded production parts and visually inspect for quality defects. The role includes housekeeping and sorting duties as needed and provides coverage for relief Packers during breaks and absenteeism.

Responsibilities include gathering packing supplies, assembling and labeling boxes, and ensuring accurate line clearance during product changes. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pack molded production parts into boxes according to specifications.
• Gather packing supplies from designated spots at each machine.
• Assemble, label, and move packed boxes through the tape machine.
• Visually inspect parts for quality defects before boxing.
• Escalate quality defects or downtime to Machine Operator or Cell Leader when observed.
• Assist with line clearance during product changes and disposition of non-conforming products.
• Sort offline production parts as directed by Cell Leaders.
• Complete line inspection forms and line clearance checklists during product changes.
• Record scrap weight and tag discarded parts appropriately.
• Relieve other Packers for lunches, breaks, and absenteeism as needed.
