Job summary

Polytainers is seeking a Material Handler to deliver packing supplies to the Molding floor and molded skids to the Warehouse, ensuring proper wrapping and safe handling. The role requires operating electric and walkie pallet jacks and maintaining accurate pallet IDs.

The position involves stocking, moving pallets, assisting QC, and following line clearance procedures during product changes, with attention to safety and traceability. Fluency in English and a high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating electric pallet jacks is an asset.
• Certified in operating a walkie pallet jack.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must meet physical activity demands listed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packing supplies from Warehouse to Molding floor.
• Deliver molded skids to Warehouse and ensure proper stacking and wrapping.
• Create Pallet ID for all skids of products produced.
• Perform MP transaction scanning for Molding and IML.
• Operate pallet jack to deliver wrapped skids to Warehouse.
• Assist in transporting products for QC to/from Warehouse.
• Maintain records of pallet IDs for traceability.
• Replenish packing supplies at machines and sign off line clearance.
• Keep scrapped and damaged skids to Warehouse; replenish tape machine.
• Record corrugates, liner bags, and U boards for traceability.
• Manage Line Clearance during product change and purge collection.
• Recharge electric pallet jack battery and perform daily checks.
• Report issues to supervisor and perform other duties as assigned.
