Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking an entry-level technician for night shift operations. The role focuses on learning and performing basic mechanical tasks with on-the-job training, including print reading and precise measurement.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related work experience.
• Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect molded product using dial calipers, micrometers, and hard gaging as prescribed by the quality inspection plan.
• Operate extruder and downstream equipment (puller, slitter, reeler, grinder, vision system, mold frame) to prescribed guidelines.
• Learn to troubleshoot and fix processing problems.
• Assist in changeovers and setups.
• Transport plastic pellets to central feeding system and take away ground scrap.
• Segregate regrinds and virgin plastic materials properly.
• Cross train in UF Assembly department.
• Attention to 5S+1 and teamwork.

Job Overview

This is an entry level position requiring basic mechanical/technical skills. We will provide on-the-job training to candidates who have a desire to learn and grow within the organization.

• Must successfully complete print reading and demonstrate measuring skills with training.

This position will be working sunday through friday from 11 pm to 7 am. 3rd shift receives a 10% shift differential.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $19.50 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
