Job summary

Evenflo Company, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a 3rd shift manufacturing operator to run and monitor injection molding machines, producing quality plastic components. The role runs 11:00 PM – 7:15 AM with a base pay of $16 plus a $1.50 shift differential.

You will inspect molded parts, remove finished items, and perform basic production tasks such as trimming, sorting, and packaging while following instructions and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Benefits begin the 1st of the month after hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor injection molding machines to produce quality plastic components.
• Inspect molded parts for defects and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Remove finished parts from machines and place them in designated containers.
• Perform basic production tasks, including trimming, sorting, and packaging parts as needed.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and quality requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Identify and report machine issues, defective parts, or production concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Meet production goals while maintaining safety and product quality.
• Work with team members and supervisors to keep production running smoothly.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred, but not required.

Willingness to learn machine operation and production procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Willingness to work 3rd shift hours.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.

Ability to lift and move materials within established job requirements.

Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and wear required personal protective equipment.
