Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support production on the plant floor. You will perform color changes, transport product and raw materials, and assist with floor maintenance. The role requires teamwork and adherence to safety and quality procedures to ensure efficient operation.

Starting pay is $21.53 per hour, with weekend shifts as needed. You will participate in inventory control, documentation, and packaging activities to support Amcor’s packaging innovation and reliable supply

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fork truck certification required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly and work around grease/oils.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare production machines with resin, colors, and packaging materials.
• Perform scheduled color changes and maintain color staging area.
• Assist floaters during breaks and support inspectors/packers with material handling.
• Package finished products, stack cases, and manage skids for shipment.
• Ensure inventory accuracy by scanning products and labeling, using JDE system.
