Job summary

BD USA — Anasco, PR is seeking a Molding Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance for injection molding operations, drive uptime, reliability, and safety. You will develop preventive and predictive programs, lead RCA and Six Sigma initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

The role requires engineering or scientific background with 4+ years in med device maintenance, strong leadership, and ability to manage budgets and training for technicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Scientific field with 4+ years med device experience OR
• Master's degree with 3+ years med device experience OR
• Ph.D. with no experience required
• Scientific Molding Certification preferred
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment (robots, dryers, chillers).
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Drive reliability improvements using Six Sigma methodology.
• Plan and schedule maintenance aligned with production needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and toolroom staff.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across the team.
• Coordinate training to enhance technical skills and safety awareness.
• Support new product introductions (NPI) and process transfers.
