Job summary

ESCO Group LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Machine Operator to operate molding equipment onsite, following production schedules and safety protocols. You’ll work Monday–Thursday, 3:30AM–2:00PM and handle molds up to 35 pounds in a warm, noisy environment with PPE consistently worn.

You’ll collaborate with the Molding Department and maintain efficiency. You’ll need prior machine operating experience, reliability, and a willingness to work early morning shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to work in a warm, noisy environment with continuous PPE.
• Reliable and willing to work early morning shifts.
• Ability to lift molds up to 35 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Operate molding machinery safely and efficiently following machine settings and production instructions.
• Process Monitoring: Oversee heating, molding, sand placement, vibration, rotation, and curing processes to ensure quality.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and wear PPE consistently in a manufacturing setting.
• Physical Handling: Lift and move molds up to 35 pounds as required.
• Team Collaboration: Work with the Molding Department team under leadership guidance.
• Travel: No travel required.
• Safety First: Maintain 100% commitment to zero-harm behaviors.
