Job summary

TURCK USA is seeking a hands-on team member to operate injection molding equipment and support production of molded products in a fast-paced environment.

You will read and follow detailed work instructions, verify materials, operate equipment, and help maintain quality and safety standards across shifts. Prior experience in molding is welcome, but training is provided to motivated individuals.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read and follow work instructions, drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • Prior injection molding or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret routers, part specifications, assembly drawings, redline drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to manufacture molded products.
  • Operate injection molding equipment and related production machinery to maintain workflow and targets.
  • Monitor product quality and perform in-process inspections to identify defects.
  • Adjust molding machine controls and parameters to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Communicate with operators, Team Leads, Production Supervisors, Engineers, and others to resolve issues.
  • Gather and verify materials required for production (resins, colorants, primers, inserts, etc.).
  • Perform mold setup and teardown per work instructions and install tooling properly.
  • Inspect molds, tools, equipment, and finished products for quality and standards compliance.
  • Perform routine maintenance and keep the workstation clean and organized.
  • Complete required production, quality, and system documentation accurately.
  • Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Job description

What You Will Do
  • Read and interpret routers, part specifications, assembly drawings, redline drawings, bills of materials, and written or verbal work instructions to manufacture a variety of molded products.
  • Operate injection molding equipment and related production machinery to maintain workflow, achieve production targets, and ensure consistent product quality throughout the production run.
  • Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and perform in-process inspections to identify and address defects or process issues.
  • Adjust molding machine controls and process parameters as necessary to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow operators, Team Leads, Production Supervisors, Engineers, and other departments to resolve production, quality, and equipment-related issues.
  • Gather and verify all materials and components required for production, including resins, colorants, primers, molding inserts, cable assemblies, shutoffs, and other required components.
  • Perform mold setup and teardown procedures according to established work instructions, ensuring proper tooling and inserts are installed for the required product configuration.
  • Inspect molds, tools, equipment, and finished products before, during, and after production to ensure compliance with quality and operational standards.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, workstation organization, cleaning, and other housekeeping activities to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Accurately complete required production, quality, and system documentation.
  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the work shift.
  • Regular use of hands and arms to operate machines, handle materials, and perform product inspections.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear in designated areas.
  • Frequent exposure to manufacturing conditions, including heat, noise, moving mechanical equipment, and process-related fumes.
  • Potential exposure to minor cuts, abrasions, burns, or bruises associated with manufacturing and equipment operation.
What You Will Bring

  • Basic reading, math, and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
