Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Molding & Automation) in Fuquay-Varina, NC. You will drive process development, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement across molding operations, supporting safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Qualified candidates will have 3–7+ years in manufacturing engineering, expertise in injection molding and factory automation, and strong project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 3-7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Prior experience with injection molding, overmolding, insert molding, or similar molding processes.
• Experience implementing or supporting factory automation systems.
• Knowledge of process troubleshooting, statistical analysis, and root cause methodologies.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain manufacturing processes with a focus on injection molding, automation systems, and continuous improvement.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance through process optimization, equipment implementation, and automation projects.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Support root cause analysis of production and quality issues.
